Found in Morgan Collett’s Ubuntu blog: The OLPC has announced it will be ending its “Change the World” (nee “Give Many”) program that allowed small-scale donations of 100 to 1,000 OLPC computers to schools. The OLPC wants to refocus on larger-scale placement efforts.

Given the OLPC program’s recent financial state, this is not a great surprise. Nonetheless, it is disappointing, especially for small school programs that relied on being able to get their laptops in that way.
