No, this doesn't mean I've given up on my Kindle Touch. It still has its uses, but I am really liking the Google Nexus 7 as a e-reader.
For all my complaints in my earlier post about the Kindle app for Android, reading on it is a beautiful thing. The screen is gorgeous, and the text is clear and sharp. I've almost completely stopped reading on my iPad because the screen resolution is so much better on the Nexus 7. With the price of 7″ tablets now plumbing the sub-$200 level, should these entry-level units be considered disposable computing devices?

Google’s Nexus devices have surely proven to be intensely popular, but narrowing it down to one thing that has been stopping people from buying the Nexus trio is its limited availability. The Nexus 7 has been the only device to keep up with the high demand, while the 10—and especially the 4—have been very rare sights.
And while eBay sellers are “kind” enough to supply you with the goods whenever you need it for luxurious prices, it sort of defeats the purpose, since the Nexus 4 and 10 are very attractive because they’re so cheap.
