WikipediaHere, from the New Yorker, via if:book. Wikipedia mentions in TeleBlog: Here. My thoughts: The Wikipedia is hardly flawless, but it’s a great launchpad for information searches elsewhere.

Related: Colbert Analyzes Wikipedia (many thanks, Ayrkain). The sketch is funny but let’s remember a little detail–namely, that you can track back discussions and see how the sausage is made. The same basic reader-editor idea can work in blogs with hyperlinked sources and comment areas. (Ouch.) And it will apply to interactive books as well.
