For most of next week I’ll be getting up at an obscene hour in order to arrive in New York City in time to cover the following for you:
Monday: the first day of the Independent Book Publishers Association Publishing University which will be held on Monday and Tuesday;
Tuesday: the IDPF’s Digital Book 2010 event
Wednesday and Thursday: BookExpo America
As a result, regular news postings may be a bit thin during the week. Depending on the WiFi situation I may or may not be able to post from the events. The Javits Center, where the IDPF and BEA are held, is notorious for its lousy WiFi and ethernet access.
Sounds like you need a 3G iPad, huh? That way nothing would depend on Wifi, but then again, isn’t ATT reception lousy in NYC?
