		<description>The main piece of nonsense in IBTimes is that the Nook was behind the Kindle. Nothing could be furthest from the truth. Each Nook device has beat the Kindle on specs by about 6 months; the problem comes with building up the platform for its partners and wooing authors. Amazon had inferior devices, but it really built out the Author support to accompany its awesome website. BN never really had caught up. BN hoped to leverage its brick and mortar stores, but that doesn&#039;t seem to have worked as well as they thought (although I&#039;ll be honest -- I visit the brick and mortar store almost as often to buy Nook accessories as to buy actual books....</description>
