My 20-month old younger daughter loves watching cartoons on an aging Archos 70. However, she then went and ceremoniously dropped the thing in the bath. And yes, it looked very pretty underwater with its screen glowing a bright green. Unbelievably, after drying out, the thing survived. She also loves to put it screen downwards on the floor and slide around on it with her hands on its back though, so you can imagine the beautiful scratch patterns left after. It's toddler-resistant, but definitely not childproof.
