I thought maybe it was not mentioned because Dr. Darnton wasn't involved. I didn't notice the lack of mention of TeleRead because I wasn't yet familiar with the TeleRead probosal (thanks, by the way. It sounds like a good idea.) I am also very glad you mention Quality Control. I am currently in the process of reading The Case for Books so I can review it and I noticed the lack of mention of Project Gutenberg as well.
