<description>If you&#039;re in the market for a decent reader without the wi-fi/cell network capabilities of the new-gen readers, why not stick with old faithful, the eBookWise? The eBookWise can read many best-sellers (not all, sadly), is $89.99 or so, and it&#039;s a really nice little machine. I&#039;ve had mine for a couple of years now and never had a bit of trouble with it except I ran over the USB plug with my desk chair and now have to wiggle it to get it to fit into the eBookWise.

Full disclosure--Fictionwise has NOT paid me for this endorsement. However, if they wish to do so, I will happily accept payment or a new USB cord.
