First, I don't have any attachment to this project.

Yes you will need an adaptor card like R4 or other to put the Home brew app on it.

If you look for some comment on it, here it is.

I have this for about a few months and it worked find.
At firs try I have changed the size of text too mutch lower and it make it instable. deleting the configuration file corrected the problem.

I have downloader since about 14 e-book I would like to read in .doc or epub format.

The reader can read only .xml .xhtml or E-pub format. so creating the xhtml file was easy with linux fot those who have it, for other there is some app you can find easily here http://sourceforge.net/projects/ndslibris/forums/forum/739964/topic/3373165 .

I have just finish to read an entire book and begin to read another one.

It's so great to read book with it that I even not played since my first book !

Hope this give you an idea.

Oh ! I forgot, and it's cheaper then the sony e-reader or else... it's free !

Bye.

All about getting homebrew apps onto the DS - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_homebrew. And yes, you need a linker. While I have a DSi, I'm missing the linker. The DS might actually make a decent little e-reader if you wanted to bother with all that, though.

The DS-iPlayer may be suitable for anyone who wants to give this a try. As it only allows the launching of homebrew and not illegal copies of games.. ( Link here : http://www.dsiplayer.com/ )

You'll need a linker (it's like an empty SD card for DS) to use the app, but it's more and more difficult to find, because they are currently used for illegal games.
