Anyone remember the Asus WePC? Because, except for the claim tha it would have a colour e-ink-like screen, the description matches that of the WePC. Could it be possible that the Pixel-Qi is in this device? Well, a couple of times Mary Lou Jepsen said they would rather not add a touchscreen layer for the sake of image quality (not at the moment).

Remember that Pixel Qi has been promising a device using their screen by the end of this year? The main Pixel Qi office is also in Taiwan.

More to the point, color e-ink isn't ready yet so either the device will just have a traditional LCD with its problems, or it will need something new to deliver color in this time frame.
