New ereader with WiFi and Bluetooth

By Paul Biba

PocketBook_302.jpgReader Johannes Haupt sent me the following email about a new ereader:

Ukrainian startup “pocketbook” is launching their thirth product at current ifa fair, a 6″ wifi/bluetooth touchscreen eReader called Pocketbook 302 with a 16 (!) grey-scale e-ink display – which unfortunately is glossy like a mirror (worse than prs-700 / prs-600 in my opinion)

Made a short hd presentation video, you can find it at http://www.lesen.net/ereader/pocketbook-302-wlan-und-bluetooth-aber-praktisch-unlesbar-video-1035/

Full specs of Pocketbook 302: http://www.pocketbook.co.il/Details.aspx?id=a591b522-5112-4780-ac52-8803ca1f48f2 . Device is ready to rollout in october in large quantitys, the guys are looking for distributors in several countrys right now. Retail price: Arround $400.

Bye
Johannes

  1. Sounds like the EB600-Cookie. Aside from Amazon and Sony most of these devices are rebadges of either Hanlin, or in this case, Netronix:
