Thanks for providing a balanced update regarding the Governor's initiative. As revolutions go, phase one was the first step in a thousand mile journey to transform content delivery. Where we end up, and what models survive or are created, is a great question. Will some classrooms put all their textbooks on an eReader, even if the content is still flat and linear? Will textbook publishers combine a variety of media like recorded lectures that have been neatly divided, like those on educator.com, with interactive applications, and just in time assessments? Time will tell, but some of the models are beginning to emerge.

Phase two of the initiative is coming and will expand beyond our original boundaries. CLRN's review process will be tweaked to ensure a more rigorous review. And, CLRN's web site will grow to highlight these digital resources.

We're looking forward to your continued posts.
