I've opted out as I deal directly with BN/Fictionwise. I hope this doesn't lead to a reduced emphasis on the Smashwords site and market. For BooksForABuck, Smashwords is a distribution outlet rather than a publisher.

I think this is good news for Smashwords authors, but from
http://www.smashwords.com/distribution
Royalties - We're still fine-tuning details, but I expect authors and publishers will continue to receive 85% of the proceeds to Smashwords and Smashwords will receive 15%. Since retailers typically take a big chunk of sales, often 50% of the list price (and we have little control over this), your net may equal approximately 42% of your list price.

There are more details at the link above, and authors can opt-out if they want.

He forged a partnership with Lexcycle/Stanza. He persuaded the venerable grandfather of self-publishing, Dan Poynter, to join the list of Smashwords authors. And now he's opened up a deal with B&N, so that any author can publish on one of the world's largest bookstores. Mark Coker is a marketing genius. Bravo!
