Hi, Jean. Paul can answer, if he knows. I don't see Macs mentioned in the current "System requirements". No mention of anything later than Version 2.5. But maybe something will be changed soon. Otherwise you may have to wait a few months. Sorry. David

David – did they mention any dates regarding Mac software release? I thought the release was supposed to correspond with the press announcement.

Steve Haber specifically refused to discuss anything outside the US, so we don’t know about Canada at this point.

The reader will probably be US-centric. I find this very disappointing as a frequent supporter of the Sony store. Shortcovers should be inking deals with Sony so we can have the 3G reader up here. I fail to understand why there has to always be geo-centric roadblocks. Anyway, let’s see what happens.
P.S. why prevents me as a Canadian from withdrawing books from the NYPL? They use Adobe Digital Editions the same as the OPL. What does it matter as long as I pay for the library card?

From what I’ve seen – it appears it will be the NYPL plus local US libraries. But it may not apply to Canadians.
