If you're concerned about Android's possible hiccups, think about an Eee PC from Asus.com. Their B5-sized devices (and one is a tablet-style) would make great e-book readers, as well as netbooks. Many of them can be run on Windows or Unix, and cost $3-500 depending on model. I'd consider one of them worth more than any dedicated reader!

Good to see great minds thinking alike. No mention of the newly revealed Chinese devices in the JK's piece, but I know he'd approve. Meanwhile, to be technical, we're talking about a range of screen sizes--4.3 to 5. Fingers crossed that this stuff will happen! Yes, dig those glowing screens!

Thanks,
David
