I saw a thing about CengageBrain.com and it sounds like they have a lot of great options if you want to use one of their books. If you payed for it you should be able to download it and keep it. That is one of the things I actually always like about physical textbooks- the tangibility. I didn't keep all of my textbooks from college but I did keep the ones I really liked. I know thats a nerdy thing to do ;) But it can be so costly to have to buy all these textbooks so I always used http://www.bigwords.com to find them. They are a textbook search engine. I do look forward to seeing how this textbook rental thing that everyone keeps talking about pans out. They can say, "See, nobody wants e-books in our courses!" and go back to their expensive paper books. Of course what they don't realize is that pirates will fill that void in a heartbeat when they recognize that Pearson is deliberately torpedoing the e-book effort. They will feel righteously justified in their actions. Why not, one bad deed deserves another! This sounds like Pearson is trying very hard to discredit the e-book in the education system.
