Our politicians really do have a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stamp_Act_1765" rel="nofollow">Stamp Tax mentality</a>---in the sense of being deaf to popular will on various information-related issues. Or at least deaf to people's needs. Just wait until more Brubakers suffers. While I don't agree with the Pirate Party on file-sharing, its new successes should serve as a useful warning to politicians everywhere.
