Of course, there is no reason to leave LIT support out even from the Linux-based version (except, maybe, out of ABM spite) since LIT on Linux support has been around for a while. I&#039;m reasonably happy with LIT rendering on my Hanlin V3-based BeBook and, while it would be nice to have dictionary support, it is quite stable as long as you don&#039;t feed it LITs created by ReaderWorks. Dunno why but it really really prefers Ms Word-created Lits.
Anyway, while more ebook readers can only be a good thing, looking at all the mutant variants being pre-announced, I have to wonder how many will actually get to market and how long they&#039;ll endure if they get that far; it reminds me of the DAP market circa 1998...</description>
