I'll stick to audio books. And yes, I like the deliberate pace. Also a sure winner played in my car, a soothing earful after a stressful day. And, to be honest, I'm finding that I'm getting more out of books (even books I've read many times) in audio. The deliberate pace is one reason, no skipping ahead. And a good narrator (Simon Vance's work on Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series) can really add a lot. Walking around a familiar track, I'll do eBooks. But not along a road, on a city sidewalk, etc. I’ll listen to an audiobook while walking. And, to be honest, I’m finding that I’m getting more out of books (even books I’ve read many times) in audio.
