I’ve got nothing against the Kindle. In fact, I think its an awesome product. I’m just the type who thinks an open product that allows a developer to replace its firmware with our own results in a better user experience. This is why I’ve been contributing back all of my code to allow generic applications like Fennec, browsers, etc to run on E-Ink displays to the community.
