My browser is set to clear all private data as I close the program, and I shut it down every evening, so no, I don’t think that’s the source of the problem. And I did the ‘one off’ version at the time to see if that would cause the page to reset, with no effect.

As bugs go, this one is fairly benign. I can still read your most excellent blog so it’s not causing grief and woe on my side. But good luck squashing it.

I use 3 different browsers and have never seen this. My main browser is Firefox on my MacBook. I would suggest you go into Tools/Clear private data, and clear your cache and your browsing history and see if this makes a difference. Let us know here what the results are. Very odd! And that's because the mobile version of your home page pops up occasionally when it should be the desktop version. An iMac in my case, software version 10.5.6.
