Yay! The new waver authors, despite their renown for experimentation, have been rather sluggish to get into e. I'd especially love to see the works of Zelazny, Brunner, Delany, and Farmer start following this example.

If GalleyCat's referring to the eight titles listed on the EReads Ellison page, then that isn't quite true just yet. Ellison Wonderland and I Have No Mouth, though listed, aren't actually released yet. Or at least, they've not been showing up as available through EReader or Fictionwise or BooksOnBoard. And a few of the Ellison titles available from these online ebook sellers don't appear on the EReads page.

But the prospect of 32 titles available means that a hefty portion of Harlan's backlist will be available in e. Frabjous day!

Now, if the same would happen with John D. MacDonald, Ross MacDonald, William Goldman, Roger Zelazny, Don Robertson, Jon Hassler, Tabitha King, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Cornell Woolrich, Richard Russo, Joseph Epstein, Jorge Luis Borges, Stanley Ellin, etc., etc., and so on into the night...

Bests to all,

Some of his work has been available in e for years and years, actually. Not a whole bunch, but enough to dispel the Luddite image that's attached itself to him.

This I didn't otherwise know about.
