Kindle is a hard sell, but I think Amazon has done a relatively good job at promoting the platform. Since book buyers end up at amazon.com anyway, there will be that perpetual nagging ad for it. In the ebook world, 20,000 seems respectable (if not wildly successful), but compared to iphones, 20,000 seems like a dismal failure. Lots of readers are interested in the Kindle, but just unwilling to bite at that price point. The next question is when will the HW discounts begin?
