Update: I'm delighted to see people remind us of Ms. Rosen's DMCA role. But I'd rather not guess about either her existing feelings or the possibility of a Microsoft connection (a topic to which the "if" link led).

Last night I actually tried to reach Ms. Rosen via her partner's email address as supplied by a domain-reg company. The message bounced back. I'm busy with a deadline, but intend to make contact with her if possible and ask directly: "Are you doing this as a consumer or for Microsoft?"

In my opinion we white hats just might be missing out on a valuable opportunity to educate Ms. Rosen if she is in the right frame of mind. I'd rather not blow this possible chance.
